What we collect and why
When you place an order we collect your name, shipping address, email and phone number. We use them to process and deliver your order, keep you updated about it, and meet our legal and tax obligations. Payments are handled by Stripe: your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers. If you tick the news-and-offers box at checkout, we use your email to send you occasional updates. This is optional and based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by writing to hello@lamacchia1799.com or via the unsubscribe link in any message.
Cookies
This site sets only technical cookies: one for your cart, one for your language, and Stripe’s fraud-prevention cookies on the checkout page. We use no analytics or advertising trackers — which is why there is no cookie banner.
Who we share data with
Your data is shared only with the providers that make the shop work: our payment provider (Stripe), our hosting providers, and the courier delivering your order. Some providers may process data outside the EU under the safeguards provided by the GDPR. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Order data is kept for as long as tax law requires (10 years in Italy). Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it. Everything else is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to restrict its processing, or to object to it, by writing to hello@lamacchia1799.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali).
